Alpha-lipoic acid (ALA) has its own antioxidant activity and
also helps recycle other antioxidants, including glutathione – an
essential antioxidant for liver detoxification.* Alpha-lipoic acid has
historically provided benefit after toxic insults to the liver.*
Alpha-lipoic acid is also a cofactor nutrient for mitochondrial
function, thus supporting energy production in the cells.*
Thiocid
provides 100 mg alpha-lipoic acid per capsule, providing an effective
amount for adult or pediatric use (see Thiocid-300 for a higher amount
option).
Ingredients
One Capsule Contains:
Alpha-Lipoic Acid 100 mg.
Other Ingredients:
Magnesium Citrate, Hypromellose (derived from cellulose) capsule, Leucine, Silicon Dioxide.
Suggested Use:
Take 1 capsule two to three times daily or as recommended by a health-care practitioner.

ALLERGY WARNINGS
This product is contraindicated in an individual with a history of hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients.
EXCIPIENT FREE
This
product does not contain wheat, gluten, corn, yeast, soy, egg, dairy
products, or artificial colors, sweeteners, or flavors. This product
also does not contain lactose, palmitic acid, or magnesium, calcium, or
vegetable stearates.
