Tocotrienols are members of the vitamin E family (tocopherols), and complement the properties of tocopherols. Together they are thought of as the most important antioxidants in fats, oils, and cell membranes. Tocotrienols are important regulators of blood lipids, being involved in the regulation of total cholesterol as well as LDL cholesterol.* The molecular structure of tocotrienols is such that it inhibits the liver enzyme HMG-CoA reductase, the enzyme that is critical to the rate at which cholesterol is synthesized.* Rice bran oil extracts are especially rich in gamma-tocotrienol.

Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement, 1 softgel one to four times daily with meals, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
